Holiday Hours

Please note that holiday hours will be in effect Monday, November 11 for Veterans Day. Holiday hours will also be in effect Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving.

 

Our support center will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. central on these dates. We hope you have a great holiday season!

Video Lottery Odds

Please remember that video lottery establishments are required to post game odds where machines are located.

 

In order to assist establishments with this, the Lottery will soon mail updated posters with odds for each game displayed. The Lottery sends updated posters on a bi-annual basis.

Site Controller Updates

The Lottery recently installed updates to your site controllers.

 

The first update gives retailer users at establishments the ability to run Voucher Reports for redeemed and unredeemed payout vouchers.

 

The second update splits the cash section of the Cash Flow Reports. The update will feature the categories Bills in $ and Tickets in $ on the report.

 

This should help when balancing the video lottery terminals.

Renewal Reminder

Your second quarter video lottery renewal forms were recently sent.

 

Please be sure to complete and submit these forms back to the South Dakota Lottery before January 6, 2025.

 

If the forms are not returned by the deadline, you risk having your machines disabled or losing your license.

Operator Contact Information Form

Video Lottery Operators are required to submit the Video Lottery Operator Contact Information form before beginning operations with a video lottery establishment.

 

The form contains information necessary to begin the process with Light & Wonder regarding site equipment. If this form is not completed during the licensing process, it could cause delays in beginning operations.

 

The form can be accessed at https://lottery.sd.gov/retailers/video-lottery-licensees/. 

 

As a reminder, Light & Wonder will complete installation of your equipment within two weeks of licensing.
